Why it is worth it
Just after I wrote the post bellow I received in my e-mail the Mentors Digest with some e-mails, one of which was from the sister of one of our buddies saying she was ok and would soon return to us (she is still at the hospital).
Although I don’t know her, I have been reading her comments on several issues on the digest and I consider her a wise, calm and gentle person.
I answered her sister wishing a quick recover and received a wonderful mail that brought tears to my eyes. It made me remember that Second Life is not the drama, the land prices, the trademark policies… Second Life is about people and making their life better.
It were people that made me enter the Volunteer program, it’s the people who make me log in everyday. If I can help bringing a little light to just one person’s life it will be worth to be here.
Don’t know if any of you guys know Kieohae, but I leave here her sister’s message… just think a bit about it next time you don’t feel like talking to someone, you might make the difference!

*SMILES* I am unsure if you still service this webpage, I find it this day just serching my own name, i was surprise as to find many entires on the list, I see this and remember you, my memories fade but I still found yours behind the dark corners.
I thank you again for all your words as with my sister thanks you, it is but a rare day I have manage to be here and look, please, I am not behind any wall or in a deep crevase and able to respond to any mails I recieve.
Today is the Thursday, the 7th day of May, 2009, if I read correctly this was made 1 year and 1 month ago.
I will return to SL as soon as I am able and reply to your message there, this will take place in 2 or maybe 3 week from this day.
