Warm Winter Nights

It was just before summer I bumped into Looker’s blog. The subjects he talked about, the wonderful pictures he took, made it one of my daily readings.

I met him in-world briefly in the castle of one of his friends and it was fun dancing at the sound of the Irish folk songs which were playing.

Sometime later, I can’t remember now how it came up, I invited him to take a look at the exhibition we were having in Portucalis, with photos of Halden Beaumont.

We have been in touch since then, meeting in one or other occasion and I have been following his work real close.

When I was thinking about the agenda of the Gallery for the next couple of months, Looker was the first person who came to my mind. I think he has come very far in what photography is concerned and that would probably be time for him to have his solo exhibition.

When I talked to him, I must confess I was a bit afraid he was going to refuse it, but he embraced the idea and I am proud to inform you that on Saturday March 1st, at 02:00 PM PST we all will be able to see 20 of Looker’s wonderful pictures in Galeria LX in Portucalis (Portucalis, 111,81,22).

The exhibition will be on until the end of March, so if you for some reason – cannot see any but it can happen hehehe – miss the opening, be sure to drop by and marvel yourselves at this artist’s great photos.

Ok ok! I know it isn’t very feminin but I just so love cars and when I saw this quiz in Looker’s blog I couldn’t resist and rushed to do it.

Sunday morning is always the best time to explore (and clean) some of the LMs I have been gathering. This time I went to Octoberville-Pixeltrix.

The island is beautifully landscaped, with lovely hidden corners for a romantic date or even just to be with friends talking in a quiet and beautiful environment. For those of you who like a little more action take a look at the crow bar. Don’t be frightened by the skull at the entrance and take a look inside – oh and don’t forget to take a look at the WCs hehehe.

Just the most beautiful sunset in SL

Yesterday I received an IM from my very good friend Kyrion to watch a Hatchies catfight. I don’t miss a chance to be among them so accepted the teleport and there I was. Kyrion is a dragon most of the time and sometimes he assumes his half elf/half human form.

Hatchies are baby dragons and are the heart and soul of the dragons realms. They are fun, irreverent, impossible not to laugh when being around them.

I had never been at their headquarters at the Photon Catchers and the place is like a big playground, watched by a big black dragon standing high on the cliff.

The fights were taking place, having as referee a wonderful nice lady furry called Zeph, and a crowd of hatchies and tinies as well as a few humans were watching.

While 2 at the time were fighting the rest of the hatchies were playing around and playing tricks on each other.

Suddenly Kyrion is called to fight a porcupine and he lost. My name comes up too and I get to fight a hatchie… guess what? A poor human like me fighting an all mighty dragon (even if a baby), I had to loose the fight. Although Sunflower, who I had called too, had a 7 round fight with one and ended up winning (but truth said the poor hatchie was having lag problems).

When I looked at the clock 2 hours had gone bye without me noticing it. I had a lot of fun and laughter and I hope I can see them soon in Portucalis.
